Overview
This policy explains what information Bhasalaya collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Bhasalaya is a Korean-learning site offering vocabulary, grammar, video, and mock-exam tools.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and any profile details you provide, via Supabase, our authentication and database provider.
- Learning activity. Mock exam answers and progress are stored so you can review your results. Some exam progress is also kept locally in your browser (localStorage) so you can resume a session.
- Reviews. If you submit a review, the name, rating, and message you provide are stored and displayed publicly on the site.
- Preferences.Your language display preference (All / EN / NE) is saved in your browser's localStorage, not on our servers.
- Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and site performance. This does not identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information above to operate core features — logging you in, saving your exam progress and results, displaying reviews, remembering your language preference, and understanding overall site usage so we can improve it. We do not sell your information.
Data storage
Account, review, and exam data are stored with Supabase. Some preferences and in-progress exam state are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device unless you submit the exam.
Your choices
You can review or delete your account information by contacting us. Clearing your browser's site data will remove locally stored preferences and in-progress exam state. You can stop using the site at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Continued use of Bhasalaya after changes means you accept the updated policy.
